My production process focuses on arrangement and sonic texture, helping transform concepts and demos into polished tracks. Through collaborative development and attention to detail, I aim to create productions that feel emotionally engaging while remaining authentic to the artist’s style.
Emotional impact lies at the heart of every mixing decision I make. Through processing and refinement, I create mixes that translate effectively and intentionally. Each mix is approached collaboratively, allowing space for revisions and feedback from all contributors.
My mastering approach focuses on tonal balance and colour. Whilst loudness optimisation is considered, I think every good master must have correct dynamic control. I aim to tighten dynamics and overall clarity while preserving the energy and emotion of the original mix. Like mixing, different genres require their appropriate mastering approach, allowing each track to maintain the characteristics and impact best suited to its style.
My audio editing focuses on refining recordings to create clean and consistent performances through comping and timing correction. My editing workflow prioritises maintaining the natural feel and emotion of performances while improving overall clarity, precision and listening quality throughout the production process.
Using a combination of synthesis and sampling processes, I develop sounds with depth and individuality to productions. Whether that be creating ambient textures or transitions, the focus remains on supporting the emotional and creative direction of the project. My personal favourite technique is resonance manipulation.
