Employed as an engineer and producer, this track was recorded as a full band to capture the ‘liveness’.

This project was handed to me after the band had tracked in a rough tracking session with another engineer. I mixed together the supplied stems.

This is part of a production collaboration. Grace based a lot of this track around the calls with family and friends and I really played into that within this production.

This task was supplied as part of a university assessment. I was tasked with envisioning a new version of the extract from Series 1 Episode 1. All music, sound effects, foley and ADR was recorded and processed into a 5.1 surround sound mix.

As part of a university assessment this project aimed at getting as close to the original track as possible. I recreated the sampling methodologies using DJ controllers and sample pads. All automation was done manually for that ‘human’ feel.

Part of a university assignment, this EP focuses on the production of classical recordings. Two of these pieces were recorded in a concert hall, With one being recorded in a studio and then blended in using an impulse response from that concert hall.

A composition deeply personal to me. This entire piece is created from field recordings in my journeys to and from university. The magic of the piece really stems from the processing including spectral freezing, resonance manipulation, sampling and envelope manipulation.

Part of a university assignment, this is a remix of “The Boss” by Diana Ross. My aim was to keep as much of the original material in as possible but repurpose it into a new context. The only additional elements are some contextual risers and a house drum kit, and a Daft Punk esque bass.

In an attempt to capture and appreciate the works of Jerry Wexler, this project was tracked and mixed with the same restrictions of contextual 1960 conditions. All instrumentalists were tracked to tape, with all processing being confined purely to analogue units. I also feature as the piano player in this track.

This project is the work of multiple live sessions with the band. The “Alternate Production” is recorded and produced by myself using various atmospheric elements captured within these live sessions.

The official album track includes some of these recordings.

Invited as a session musician for piano performance and solo recording in a portfolio project.
