Employed as an engineer and producer, this track was recorded as a full band to capture the ‘liveness’.
This project was handed to me after the band had tracked in a rough tracking session with another engineer. I mixed together the supplied stems.
This is part of a production collaboration. Grace based a lot of this track around the calls with family and friends and I really played into that within this production.
As part of a university assessment this project aimed at getting as close to the original track as possible. I recreated the sampling methodologies using DJ controllers and sample pads. All automation was done manually for that ‘human’ feel.
A composition deeply personal to me. This entire piece is created from field recordings in my journeys to and from university. The magic of the piece really stems from the processing including spectral freezing, resonance manipulation, sampling and envelope manipulation.
Part of a university assignment, this is a remix of “The Boss” by Diana Ross. My aim was to keep as much of the original material in as possible but repurpose it into a new context. The only additional elements are some contextual risers and a house drum kit, and a Daft Punk esque bass.
This project is the work of multiple live sessions with the band. The “Alternate Production” is recorded and produced by myself using various atmospheric elements captured within these live sessions.
The official album track includes some of these recordings.
